Semax is known for its neuroprotective, nootropic and neurorestorative properties. It is one type of heptapeptide and it is used in case of different medical conditions such as: transient ischemic attack, stroke, cognitive disorders, optic nerve disease, peptic ulcers and immune system related issues. Please note that though this medicine is widely used in Russia and Ukraine, the US FDA is yet to evaluate the same.
Semax works by rapidly increasing the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and the signaling receptor TrkB as well. The medicine also plays a major part in elevating the serotonergic and dopaminergic brain systems. Some practitioners recommend its usage as an antidepressant as Semax can attenuate the behavioral effects of exposure to the chronic stress. Semax is found to inhibit enzymes which are involved in the degradation of enkephalins and some other endogenous regulatory peptides too.
One of the biggest advantages of Semax is that it has no interactions with other medicines and the side effects are not significant either. You will not get attracted to the same and there should not be any allergic reactions of Semax either. Please store Semax in room temperature, away from direct exposure to sun and don’t freeze the same.
